To laut aaye ho der se khyal accha hain,
Magar hamri gali main ek mahman accha hain,

Chle aate ho tum bina masuam ke tufan ki trah,
Jra tahro suno hmare yha mausam ka haal accha hain,

Sunte nhi tum kbi meri bs sunate hain,
Ye guftgu andaz accha hain.

तो लौट आये हो देर से ख्याल अच्छा हैं,
मगर हमरी गली मैं एक मेहमान अच्छा हैं,

चले आते हो तुम बिना मौसम के तूफान की तरह,
जरा ठहरो सुनो हमारे यहाँ मौसम का हाल अच्छा हैं,

सुनते नहीं तुम कभी मेरी बस सुनाते हो,
ये गुफ्तगू अंदाज़ अच्छा हैं.
