It is very sad to know that our veteran actor, Legendary Irrfan khan left us at the age of 53. He had been admitted to the intensive care unit of Mumbai’s Kokilaben hospital on Tuesday with a colon infection and on Wednesday the world shocked after hearing the news that the Talented actor is no longer among us.
Legendary Irrfan Khan: Early Life, Family, and Education
Sahabzade Irrfan Ali Khan, also popularly known as Irrfan Khan (7 January 1967 – 29 April 2020), known for his incredible work in the Hindi cinema as well in British film and Hollywood.
He considered one of the finest actors in Indian cinema for his versatile and natural acting. In 2011, He was awarded the Padma Shri and with many of the awards. Irrfan Khan was born and brought up in Jaipur, India. He was born into a Muslim Nawab family.
After graduating in 1987, Khan moved to Mumbai, where he acted in numerous television serials like ‘Chanakya’, ‘Sara Jahan Hamara’, ‘Banegi Apni Baat’ and ‘Chandrakanta’ (Doordarshan) and ‘Star Bestsellers’ (Star Plus), Sparsh, etc.

In his school he was very shy, his teachers used to scold him as his voice was not audible in class.
He has faced a lot of struggles in his teenage, he has also worked as a repairer of airconditioner and also as a tutor for his living. Once he went to Rajesh Khanna’s house to repairing AC.

- He was selected for the tournament but he missed the opportunities due to lack of funds.
- While pursuing an MA is, he was offered a schoolship to attend the national school of drama.
- He rose to fame with a negative role in hassle in 2003 in 2005 he got a lead role in movie rog.
- Irrfan changed the name of his spelling Irrfan to Irrfan because of he like the sound of extra r.
- He had a dream of gifting a suitcase full of money to her mother.
- He got many accolades for his acting in “pan Singh Tomar”
And appeared in various tv serials like – Chanakya, Chandrakanta, Bharat Ek Khoj, etc. - Irrfan Khan met the love of his life(Sutapa Sikdar ) in NSD who is his wife now.
Irrfan Khan: Illness
On 16 March 2018. the actor had taken to Twitter and reveal his diagnosis. He had written:
“Sometimes you wake up with a jolt with life-shaking you up. In the last fifteen days, my life has been a suspense story. Little had I known that my search for rare stories would make me find a rare disease. I have never given up and have always fought for my choices and always will.
My family and friends are with me and we are working it out the best way possible.
In trying times, please don’t speculate as I will myself share with you my story within a week –ten days when further investigations come with a conclusive diagnosis. Till then, wish the best for me.
On March 5, 2018, the world woke up to the news that the talented actor was seriously unwell.
In fact, the actor had taken to Twitter and reveal his diagnosis. However, the nature of his illness hadn’t been confirmed, and hence speculation was there. Then, on March 16, 2018, he released another statement that he had been diagnosed with a rare disease called a neuroendocrine tumor. He wrote on Twitter:
“Life is under no obligation to give us what we expect: Margaret Mitchell. The unexpected makes us grow, which is what the past few days have been about.
Learning that I have been diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Tumour as of now has admittedly been difficult, but the love and strength of those around me and that I found within me has brought me to a place of hope.
The journey of this is taking me out of the country, and I request everyone to continue sending their wishes. As for the rumors that were floated NEURO is not always about the brain and googling is the easiest way to do research 🙂 To those who waited for my words, I hope to be back with more stories to tell.”
In 2019, his health reportedly showed signs of improvement and he began shooting for his first time after diagnosis, Angrezi Medium.after successful treatment, the actor returned to India.
Announcing his return, he wrote on Twitter in April: “Maybe, somewhere in the pursuit of winning,
We forget how much it means to be loved. In our vulnerability, we are reminded. As I leave my footprints onto these steps of my life, I want to pause to be grateful for receiving your immense love and support, it soothed me in my process of healing. So I travel back to you, thanking you from the bottom of my heart.”
Before the promotion of the film his health again took a beating
the actor released a recorded message.
He said in Hindi: “Hello, brothers and sisters. I am with you and not with you. This film, Angrezi Medium, is very special to me. I truly wanted to promote this film as passionately as we made it, but there are some ‘unwanted guests’ in my body and they’re keeping me busy. I’ll keep you informed on that front.”

5- He also won the GQ (Indian edition) Man of the year award in 2009.

A man who always be missed by everyone. This is actually the way of living life. When he died the whole world cried. His humble attitude and amazing work will always be an inspiration for us. we will miss him. India will miss him.we are proud of him. India is proud of him.
Once he didn’t have money to buy the Jurassic park ticket but Because of his determination and talent, he played a lead role in that movie.
I am sure heaven has saved a special place for him.
